Emphasis of the program, the coaches, the parents, the umpires and the athlete shall be the development of the fundamental skills of softball. Teaching and demonstrating good sportsmanship shall also be the highest priority.

The essential elements of character building and ethics in sports are embodied in the concept of sportsmanship and the following core principles: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, good citizenship and caring. The highest potential of sports is achieved when competition reflects these “six pillars of character.”

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE. NORTH COAST CRUSHERS SOFTBALL ORGANIZATION!!!
We would like to welcome and introduce Brittany Bakalar as our head coach of the 2024-2025 12U North Coast Crushers.
Coach Brittany comesI to the Crushers organization with 15 years of coaching experience starting as a student assistant softball coach at The Ohio State University, Varsity Assistant at Crestwood and Berkshire High school for several years, and served as Head Varsity Coach for Berkshire for two years. Brittany is a School Counselor at Berkshire High School in Geauga and resides in Aurora, Ohio.
Brittany graduated from Crestwood High School in 2004. While at Crestwood she was a part of the 2002 Division II state championship team and earned many district, region, and state honors and awards. Brittany earned a softball scholarship to play at The Ohio State University while pursuing a degree in Sociology and minoring in Education and Human Development and Family Sciences . While at OSU, Brittany was a 4 year letterwinner as a 2B/OF and lead off hitter. Brittany earned All-Big Ten Honors, 3rd Team All-American and her senior year was the team Captain. Brittany has coached at 8u, 10u, and is extremely excited to coach at the 12u level.
